Events Lookup

Events Lookup is an iPhone application that lets you find upcoming events and places of interest nearby or near any given location. You can look for events by categories or view popular, featured or all events in the area, or you can check the events in a particular venue. You can search for events using a start date and/or a search string.
You can add events to your calendar or to a watchlist. Your friends will see your watchlist, so they will know where you are going, and so will you. You can also view your friend’s watchlist by selecting a contact name from the address book. You can invite friends from within the application or by going to www.upcoming.yahoo.com.

- Shake the device to reload the events or venues or to clear the search.
- Tap on the event date on the event page to add the event to the calendar

Watchlist features require signing up for Yahoo! Upcoming account (which is free).
The event data is provided by Yahoo! Upcoming.
